We celebrated Sonja’s 70th birthday with a 70’s themed party. Mom had all the matching decorations and even accessories for us to wear. Amber and her crew showed up fully decked out in 70’s attire!! They are so cute! Birthday parties are just always more fun in at Mom’s house!
Another successful Disciple Now. We always love pairing with Brandan’s church in Thornton for this weekend. Friday and Saturday we had great weather for all our outdoor activities and then Saturday night and Sunday we spent time indoors in Thornton for Byron’s preaching and small groups. Watching the kids encounter the Lord differently is what makes this weekend so much fun!!
Richard and I had a couple gift cards for different things around downtown Waco, so we decided to just make it a small getaway weekend. We started off with massages and then went to get checked in at the hotel. After a dip in the hot tub and trying the Hotel Indigo’s famous spicy margarita, we got changed and headed to Portofino’s for dinner. Then lastly we tried out the bar Z’s on the Curry. Everywhere we went was fantastic! We decided we would definitely have to become tourists hub or own town again soon!
