Troy’s first semester in college seems to have been a good one!! He has made some friends and joined the PNA and has learned to study and take really hard tests. We were able to visit once and Taryn’s family went to visit once and he came home once before the holidays. We even saw him on TV at one of the football games. I have sent a few care packages through the semester to keep his spirits up, but I think he transitioned well! He and Jace participated in Game Day by staying up all night to secure a spot and they also tackled a mountain in Colorado one weekend and ended up with a pretty cool story of survival at the end of it. His grades ended up being pretty good and I think he was happy with his effort. It’s been fun watching him tackle adulthood on his own.
