Teague is trying to balance finishing powerlifting and starting track. This year he is running all the relays and trying out long jump and triple jump. The relays are looking pretty good and he is enjoying the challenge I think. At the Riesel meet in March, the 4x2 relay broke Troy’s 4x2 relay team record from 2023, so they thought that was pretty cool!
At District Teague advanced in all 5 events. It was his first time trying the triple jump and he somehow pulled out 2nd place! His hard work definitely helps him succeed in all he tries.
The Area meet was great! The boys did so well and will be advancing to Regionals in both the 4x2 and the 4x4.
The Regional meet was cold and rainy for day 1 and beautiful for the finals on day 2. The boys ran their best 4x4 at 3:26, but it wasn’t enough for State but it was good enough to get 3rd on the podium!! So proud of them!
