Texas Tech for Teague

Teague applied to Texas Tech the moment it opened on August 1st. He wrote a great essay and had strong recommendation letters so I’m hoping he gets in! 

Teague finally heard back after a month. He’s going to be a Red Raider! 

Koby’s new career

Koby has jumped into teaching and coaching this year at Riesel. We have been able to attend a few games now and it seems like he has found such a sweet community that supports him and a great group of coaches to learn from. I think he’s learning that teaching and coaching is a lot of time, but it is also so rewarding! It’s been fun watching him grow in this next season of life. 

Labor Day at the beach

Justin and Heather bought a new house, so we decided to head to the beach over Labor Day to see them and their new home for the long weekend. The weather was a little rainy at first, but cleared up for a great weekend! We enjoyed seeing their beautiful home and loved their pool and hot tub. Then we spent one day at the beach and in our rental home that was nice also. It was a very relaxing weekend!
