We took a quick trip to Surfside to enjoy the beach and get a little bit of downtime before June hits. With football camp and youth camp and the fireworks store, June is always so busy. It was nice to get away and reset before more craziness hits. We were able to spend a day with Richard’s brother and Blake was also able to tag along and hang out with us a little bit in between his work calls. The beach is always so relaxing, even if the trip was a short one.
45 for Richard!! He is so easy to celebrate!! We enjoyed a steak dinner and then his favorite, chocolate delight!
Teague graduated from the 8th grade. We took him to dinner and then watched the graduation ceremony. Freshman year will be here soon! It’s hard to believe all the boys will be in high school now!
Kelby’s spring sports are golf and baseball. His team made it to Regionals in golf and enjoyed a few days in Jacksonville.
Baseball went 2 rounds deep in the playoffs before being knocked out. The team is very young, so next few years should be a strong team that goes even further!
The end of the year always has a ton of banquets to attend. This year we attended the FFA banquet on Monday and the Athletic banquet on Wednesday.
At the FFA banquet, the boys were recognized several times for their hard work all year long in different competitions. Kelby was also elected as the Advisor for the 2023-2024 school year.
At the Athletic banquet, the boys were recognized for all their sports and we heard the coaches share about plans for the upcoming season. Great things ahead for these athletes!!
Koby is 20! We enjoyed a great Cajun dinner at his favorite spot! Hard to believe he’s out of those teenage years! I’m praying this next decade is the best one yet!
