The boys had an amazing football season! The coaching staff was all new so that brought a little apprehension through the summer, but the change has been so good. We’ve seen so much growth and unity in this high school team! It’s been a blast to watch. They lost out in the second round of playoffs, but the team hasn’t come that far in over a decade! The future looks bright!
At 7:51am Troy turned 16 years old!! We had a wonderful evening celebrating Troy with the whole family! I found a steal of a deal on a truck a few months back and snagged it even though Troy doesn’t quite have the money to pay for his half. Since he knew he didn’t have enough money it never crossed his mind he might get a truck. So when he got her he just walked right by it and didn’t even look at it. Then, I had to coerce him back outside to ask him to move it in hopes he would ask who’s it was, but he never did. I ended up just having to tell him it was his if he liked it and wanted it. He was speechless! Happy birthday. T-Man! You make me proud!

Kelby turned 16 and of course picked his favorite place to eat, Ichiban. He has yet to find just the right truck and his driving test isn’t until November, so he doesn’t have a set a wheels yet, but soon!
A group of ladies from my community has been meeting together on Sunday nights to grow closer to Jesus. Sometimes we paint, sometimes we pray, sometimes we eat and visit, sometimes we watch The Chose, but tonight we recreated a Shabbat Dinner with communion. It was an amazing night with teaching from Amanda Pesina. I love that the wonder and awe is always fresh and the Lord teaches me something new all the time.
