10 year anniversary cruise

Richard and I were so blessed to be able to take an 8 day cruise around the Caribbean for our 10 year anniversary. 

On the night of our anniversary, we both shared our toon5 memories from the last decade and I also surprised Richard with our vows printed on tin, which is the traditional 10 year gift. 

Joining the workforce

Troy finally got a job! It took several months and lots of applications, but Hawaiian Falls hired him as a lifeguard. 

Then a few weeks later he decided to apply at Waco Surf, too and got that job also. He will be busy making money and learning life skills this summer! I’m proud of his hard work and willingness to put his time to good use!

With no burn ban this year, we had a successful season! Lots of good help, lots of laughs and lots of fireworks sold! 

Wired youth camp

We spent another great year at Latham Springs for youth camp! My favorite saying that I heard was “Are you searching, struggling or serving?”  I think that is a great question that can be asked of anyone to engage in transparent accountability in our walk with the Lord. My favorite activity was the Silent Disco. I had never heard of that before and the kids hadn’t either so we were kind of skeptical, but it was a blast!! Spending the week watching the kids grow closer to each other and the Lord is one of the highlights of my year, time and time again!
