Birthday Fun

Troy's birthday party turned out great! All the family came and even Christian, his friend from the apartments. We borrowed a bounce house from the church and that was a great hit with both boys! He got a ton of new toys and some clothes and jackets and new books to read. Nana made a football cake so that went great with the sports theme. It didn't take Troy long to figure out how to open gifts, and sometimes he thought the tissue paper was the gift! After cake and ice cream and presents he was so tired! It was a great birthday and we are so thankful for all the people who love Troy and helped make his day so special!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to Sweet Berry Farms in Marble Falls on Monday since Daniel had the day off. There was so much to do and I think Troy really had a good time. There were a ton of photo spots and lots of pumpkins and gourds to chose from. There was also pony rides, face painting, a maze in the hay field, goats to feed and a hay ride. We let him pick out a few pumpkins to take home for his room and spent the rest of the time trying to get a few good pictures. Although it was a little overcast and rainy it was worth the drive out there!

Baby Arlitt Update

I had my monthly check up with my doctor today and it was pretty uneverntful, which is a blessing. She just wanted to check my weight and my blood pressure and listen for the heart rate. It was a strong 160 bpm, so that is good. I am only wearing sweat pants or dresses now, and I am looking forward to the cooler weather, especially as I get bigger in the months to come!
