Senior Sunday

Today we had one last celebration for Baylee. At church, all the seniors were recognized and given a Bible. They all have done great things in the youth group over the years and we are going to miss each one of these teens!

After church, we had Baylee’s graduation party. There was lots of food and family and friends. I had a lot of fun planning the decorations and the menu and I th I know everything turned out great!

Graduation Day

It was over as quickly as it came!!  Tonight Baylee walked across the stage and closed a chapter in her life.  She had a very large cheering section and I as looked around at each one of them I thought about how each person has touched her life in some way to make her who she is today.  She is special to a lot of people and has a foundation and support system that can't compare to many!  We were all very proud!

Baylee,
I pray that the 7 years I have been in your life have been bright ones.  I pray you look back fondly on the memories and know that you are loved and treasured as my only daughter! I'm looking forward to the years to come and the memories still left to be made, but for this brief moment I will grieve the moments that are gone; watching you cheer on Friday nights, braiding your hair before a basketball game or curling it before Prom, throwing you birthday parties, teaching you to drive...they were sweet, sweet moments that I will cherish forever!

Congrats, Baylee.  I love you!

5th grade graduation

The elementary years are complete!  These boys have made us proud in their academics, their athletics and their character and integrity!  This morning we were able to celebrate all their accomplishments!!  Before school we gave them their graduation gift.

Their program had awards and a slide show and their diplomas!  What fun it was to cheer them on!

Iron Man

These boys have been together in school and on the baseball field since Kindergarten so they took the theme and made it their own!  What handsome super heroes!  More pics to come of these 9!!

All the grandparents came to cheer the boys on!

My first born...

Richard's last born

These two have meshed into true brothers; sometimes they are thick as thieves and sometimes they can't stand each other, but no matter what they are there for each other.

From raising little boys who caught frogs and rode bikes and played in the sprinkler to raising young men who are asking about getting phones and picky on the clothes they wear and have to have a certain type of hairspray...the ride has been and will continue to be an exciting one!!
We love you both tremendously!

That evening the whole class was invited to a pool party!  I loved watching them hang out together and just relax and have fun! They have earned it!
