Graduation Party

We celebrated Koby and Jase’s upcoming graduation with a party. Richard and Josh started the pits early and by dinner we had brisket and ribs and sausage and pulled pork. It all was so delicious. It was nice to see faces we hadn’t seen in awhile and also visit with friends we don’t talk to often. Graduation Day is coming up and I pray Jase and Koby both felt loved and honored by those who have watched them grow up into fabulous young men!

From little boys to young men...we had to recreate this photo.

Championship Tournament

Troy and Michael had a great year of fishing. The dishes their championship tournament at Richland Chambers. At about 1:45 Troy called and told me he caught a 10 pounder. At first, I thought he was kidding, but then he told me to tune in to the live feed for awards and sure enough, he won the Big Bass award!! And now holds the record for the largest fish caught in the junior division.

Banquets

The end of the year is filled with banquets. Since it’s Koby’s senior year, they all seem a little more sentimental than usual. FFA banquet

Bachelorette Party Re-Do

Since the snowstorm ruined our initial plans of the bachelorette party in February we had to reschedule for the first of May. When we arrived in Fredericksburg on Friday we loved every bit of the house! Spacious and cozy and a ton of space for everyone to have their own wing! We decorated for our Fiesta weekend and relaxed! Then we went into town for dinner. Saturday was a bit rainy, but that didn’t stop us! We ate on Main Street and shopped and then went to a few wineries before heading back to the house for our Fiesta dinner! We got so carried away talking and laughing that we didn’t even start cooking until 9pm...which is super late for old gals with kids! We had a wonderful time celebrating Amber and Cliff!
