Wedding Shower

This weekend I got to help host my sister-in-law, Audrey's, wedding shower! It was alot of fun and her and Javier got alot of great stuff for their first home. I also got to take some engagement pictures of them. They were such good sports and there were quite a few that pictures turned out really cute. 7 more weeks until the wedding, I know they are both so excited.

Dr. Appt

Teague went for his 4 month check up and looks great. He is now 17.5 lbs and almost 25 inches long. He can now roll from tummy to back and back to tummy. He is so smiley and laughs at other kids most often. We thought he was getting a tooth but still nothing, so I guess he just had a fussy few days last week. Last weekend Daniel took both boys to Fredericksburg while I had a girls weekend. Teague did great taking bottles all weekend and I am sure there was lots of daddy bonding going on! We are working on sitting up and sleeping through the night so maybe by next month those will be our accomplishments.

I loved this picture that came across my email today. Some days that is so true!!

Inked

At the beach Daniel and I also got tattoos. They are both of the Christian fish that we have been wanting to get for awhile now, and what better place than on vacation?

Beach Vacation

Over the last week we were able to take a short beach vacation! We went with my best friend Tanna and her husband Brandon and their daughter Brylee. We had so much fun and the weather was perfect. All the kids did really well with napping and sleeping for the most part and we were each able to spend a little time as a couple while the other couple babysat. Tanna and I rode jet skis one day and Brandon and Daniel fished from the jetty one day so that was nice to spend some alone time with Tanna! It's been awhile since we have done that since the kids came along. Troy loved the beach. He has been once before but this time he knew what to expect. He would wake up around 6am and we would be on the beach by 6:30 or 7 and stay all the way til lunch. There are very few things that keep his attention that long, but the beach is one of them. He would jump waves, build sand castles, chase birds, play on the boogie board, look for sea shells, the possibilities were endless! But by the time lunch rolled around he was so tired. The first day all the kids took a 3.5 hour nap! We really enjoyed the quiet time ourselves!! I think we decided we are going to make this an annual trip since we all enjoyed ourselves so much!

Teague really enjoyed the water and the sound of the waves put him to sleep almost everyday!

Daniel catch from the surf!
