The month of birthdays!

We have celebrated and celebrated and celebrated this month!! And this week, it was Troy's turn.
He is now 7!  The day I brought him home from the hospital is becoming more and more fuzzy as the years go by, and this year is the first year I have truly thought "where did the time go?"  7 is no longer a baby or toddler or even a little boy, but I blinked and he is now a grown boy.  He is still very quiet and compliant, but he definitely has an adventurous spirit and loves the outdoors.

7 years old!  His special birthday hat is in storage which I was sad about since it has been a birthday tradition for so long...but we will pick it up on the next birthday!  Happy 7th T-man!  I'm so proud of who you are and I know God has big plans for your life.  I love you!

We all had donuts and gave Troy his presents in the morning before school.

Then he enjoyed cupcakes at school from Judy and Lynette, and Mimi brought him and Kelby McDonald's.

The weekend in between Kelby and Troy's birthdays was their party.  They each invited a few friends and we did pizza rolls, chips, soda, cupcakes and glow sticks!  It was a wild night!

There was even a small game of flag football to watch!
Teague didn't want to play football so he enjoyed some bike riding and insisted I take his picture, too.

They each had 7 candles + 1 to grow on to blow out.

And opening gifts from everyone is always a hit!
We packed them all in to sleep where we could and they enjoyed a movie with popcorn and all fell asleep before midnight!!  SUCCESS!!  It has been a wild month of birthdays and I hope each one of our October birthday children know how special they are and how much we love them!!
