Cozumel

Our third stop landed us in Cozumel.  Richard and I stopped here for our honeymoon and he really wanted to do the same excursion again this time because it was such a good experience last time.  Up until this day, the kids really had not experienced a Caribbean beach, so it turned out to be a perfect ending!

We chose the Passion Island Get-Away.  The powered catamaran took us about 45 minutes out to Passion Island where we had 3+ hours to swim or relax or do a little shopping on top of all you can eat and drink.  It was so peaceful!!

Everyone getting off the boat at the beach!

Lots of hammocks, both on the beach and in the water!

There were water inflatables to play on.
Baylee's mini photo shoot!

A place to shoot hoops!

The boys had saved Christmas money and chore money to have spending money for souvenirs so they had about $20 to spend at each place.  The islanders blew the conch shell from the boat as we left and as we pulled up to the island and the boys thought that was so cool!  Troy and Kelby wanted one to blow like they did as well.  At the shops, they told them $50, so they were pretty disappointed they didn't have enough money.  I guess since they kept looking at them so pitifully, the man said if they would do a dance they could each have one for $20!  The boys quickly began dancing; Kelby busted out the whip and nae nae and Troy did the worm!  We were all laughing so hard and the man selling the shells happily let them have them for $20!  They were so proud of themselves and their new treasures!
Here they are blowing their shells as we left the island!

After we got back to the port, we had about an hour to shop and take pictures at all the touristy spots.

Passion Island will always hold a special place in my heart and it was fun to experience it with the kids this time around.  I have a feeling we will be back over and over again throughout the years to come!
