Galveston 2020

Since our Puerto Rico trip got cancelled due to coronavirus, we made a quick plan to go to Galveston for a few days.

The beach activities included volleyball, skim boarding, boogie boarding, bird feeding, reading, picture taking, hole digging and sand castle building. There is always something to do at the beach!

It was nice to be able to go for a run and listen to worship music early in the morning with no distractions. The waves are so soothing and the pace of the beach is so much slower, so it’s easier to rest both physically and mentally. I have no idea what the next several months will hold, but I am thankful that we were able to get away and reset and spend some time together as a family.
